Steven Harowitz

After his admission to the State Bar of California, Mr. Harowitz began the practice of law, representing defendants in products liability and professional negligence cases. In 1983, the focus of Mr. Harowitz' practice shifted to the representation of plaintiffs. Since that time he has represented victims of medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, consumer and business fraud, product defects and civil rights violations. Mr. Harowitz has successfully tried to verdict over 50 jury trials.

Over the years Mr. Harowitz has presented information at a number of national professional seminars and meetings. He has also participated as a teacher in the University of San Francisco's Intensive Advocacy Program and Stanford University Law School Advocacy Program. Mr. Harowitz has served as a settlement coordinator for the San Francisco Bar Association Early Settlement Program and for the San Francisco Superior Court. Mr. Harowitz has regularly been selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer. He has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell.
